Northwest Arkansas Community College

In October 2025, I began my first full-time role as the Sports Information and Media Director for the NWACC Eagles in Bentonville, Ark. I’m a one-man athletic communications office, handling everything from websites and stats to social media to public relations and media coordination.

NWACC has just a handful of sports right now and is only five years old as an athletic department. I’m the school’s first-ever SID and get to build communications efforts from the ground up the right way.

At the end of the day, this job comes down to highlighting the school’s successes and celebrating the wins of its people. I love every aspect of what SIDs do, and I love that I get to establish what the present and future of NWACC athletics will look like.

In the first four months of 2026 alone, social media impressions have topped 500,000 views and website traffic has increased by over 1,000% from the previous 12 months combined.

I’ve quickly set to work establishing a bank of photo and video assets, producing consistent veins of story, post and reel content on Instagram and writing weekly, often daily content on NWACCEagles.com supporting our athletic programs. Feature stories, previews, recaps and new athlete signings have all featured heavily in the content NWACC has put out both online and on social media to increase visibility and professionalism.

I’m also overseeing a redesign of NWACCEagles.com to vastly improve the site’s look and feel as well as its capabilities. Now that I’m able to create content full-time for the athletics department, it’s time for our website to be able to support some of the more creative ideas we’re coming up with.

In Fall 2026, men’s and women’s soccer will be supported by live video broadcasts of all home matches and audio-only broadcasts of all away matches, marking the first time NWACC will produce live streams of athletics events. I’ll once again be starting from scratch to build something sustainable with a strong, strategic foundation that promotes our athletes well and provides a revenue stream for the department.

Here’s where much of my time will be spent and where much of my content will live. Keep an eye on it over time as I start to make my mark and turn the site into an elite representation of the program.
